About Us
The Shimla Bar Association, established under the Indian Trusts Act of 1882, is registered with registration No. 362/2008 as of September 2, 2008. With a membership exceeding 1,000, the Association's elected office bearers and nominated executive members serve as Trustees in their official capacities.
The primary aim of the Shimla Bar Association is to protect and promote the interests of its members. The Association's office bearers include the President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Joint Secretary, Librarian, and Auditor, along with 20 executive members appointed by the President in consultation with other elected office bearers. These individuals serve a one-year term from the date of their election.
